Job description
Feeding and caring for cattle. Herding cattle to winter lots. Maintaining heated water supply. Maintaining cattle equipment. Snow removal. Maintaining snow removal equipment. Hauling hay from fields to winter lots. Assisting in basic animal health procedures including but not limited to vaccinations & births. Maintaining fencing
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
