Job description

The following are additional staggered dates:
02/15/2026
Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul agricultural machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, trucks, combines, equipment.
1.Maintain and repair farm vehicles.
2.Record details of repairs made, and parts used.
3.Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation, and adjusting as necessary.
4.Clean and lubricate parts.
5.Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools.
6.Tune engines.
7.Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
8.Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, milling and woodworking machines, lathes, welding equipment,grinders, or saws.
9.Fabricate new metal parts, using drill presses, engine lathes, and other machine tools.
2. Install and repair agricultural and among others.
3. Assisting cleaning and organizing the shop
12.Follow direction from leader of mechanic.
Workers could also:
1.Replace engine filters, air filters, diesel, and hydraulic system.
2.Oil Change
3.Change of brakes and maintenance of spark plugs
4.Engine and transmission replacement
5.Replace damaged parts such as bearings, light bulbs, wiring (harness), batteries, hoses, and standard transmission repair.
6.Basic metal welding.
7.Standard Transmission
8.Special Mechanics.
9.Head gasket, valve seals, injector change.
10.Replacement of brake seals
11.Replacement of injection pumps
12.Replacement and maintenance of Radiators
13.A/C maintenance on cabin tractors and vehicles if needed.
14.Change of brakes, clutch and maintenance of vehicles.
15.Engine and transmission replacement.

Special Requirements

B.2 Worker must possess 12 months of farm equipment mechanic experience.
4e) Must be able to lift and/or load 75lbs.
4g) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
4h) May require extensive pulling and/or pushing of tools, batteries, etc.
4i) May require worker to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time while repairing, replacing engine parts, etc.
4j) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over while performing farm labor such as repairing, replacing, engine fi lters, airfi lters, changing the oil, etc.
4k) There will be repetitive movements while performing most of the farm labor duties, for example replacing engine parts..
