Job description
Duties may include: peel crawfish; use of hands to peel crawfish and remove crawfish tailmeat (the edible portion of the crawfish) from shell; clean/remove waste from crawfish tail; inspect crawfish tailmeat for defects; weigh tailmeat; place crawfish tails in appropriate bag after peeling; daily clean up and sanitize worksite.
(No knives or sharp objects used)
Special Requirements
Extensive sitting, repetitive movements. May be subject to random drug screen upon hire paid for by employer and/or a drug screen paid for by employer if reasonable suspicions arise during employment. This is a drug free work area. A failed drug screen will result in termination for cause.
Employees are required to adhere to company's production standard of 4 lbs. per hour worked. Employees unable to achieve the production standard stated in the contract will not be allowed to work over the minimum amount of hours offered. Employees producing lower than the production standard for an extended period of time with no improvement may be subject to job termination at the discretion of management.
