Farm Worker

Job description

General farm workers support various farm production and related shipping activities. Under close supervision, workers perform routine tasks such as plant pulling, rack building, offloading, consolidating, and spreading & moving containerized plants and materials. The role requires consistent attention to safety, quality, and productivity, while maintaining a positive and team-oriented attitude. This position involves manual labor and repetitive physical activity.

Identify, select, and pull ready-to-sell containerized plants according to supervisor instructions and quality standards.
Load and offload trailers, racks, and carts.
Build, organize, and secure racks for plant loading, storage, or shipment.
Consolidate and arrange plants and materials in designated areas.
Spread, space, and move plants throughout growing zones as directed.
Follow team leader instructions for plant zones, locations, and specific task assignments.

Special Requirements

One month of greenhouse or nursery experience required. Workers are not permitted to be under the influence of intoxicants of any kind during working hours. Employer reserves the right to conduct employer-paid upon suspicion/post-accident drug testing in accordance with state law. Any employee who declines to take or fails a drug test will be immediately terminated.
