Job description

AEWR; US Workers: AR: $13.40; H2A Workers: AR: $12.27.

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties under SOC Code 45-2093 that can only be performed when vegetation and crop acres are dormant due to cold weather and short daylight hours when wildlife is active and suspectable such as: Assist in the management and preservation of wildlife habitat on the farm during the migration of waterfowl and deer by maintaining wire, removing debris, servicing wetlands, controlling invasive species, inspecting and recording wildlife population; Maintain adequate levels in ponds and wetlands; Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team; Develop, maintain, and protect areas such as forested areas, woodlands, wetlands, drainages and tree-rows with chainsaw and other brush removing equipment such as dozer, excavator; Auger grain into hoppers; Deliver to port or terminal using semi; Prepare equipment for use. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
