Job description
Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Workers will perform general farm labor and shop work. Workers will drive grain trucks, no CDL is required because it is a registered farm vehicle driven within 50-150 miles, to haul grain from the grain bins to feed mills and elevators. Workers may disk ground to get ready for planting crops and inspect, maintain, and winterize farm equipment and machinery.
Special Requirements
Worker must be 18 years or older. Three (3) months experience is needed working in Agricultural fields & on Agricultural Equipment due to Safety issues. The company may conduct criminal background checks on all new applicants for employment. Valid drivers license is required to drive company vehicles. All tools and supplies will be provided at no cost to workers. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Duties may vary from time to time. Workers must be able to climb, stand, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, bend (from the waist), push, pull, reach, and lift 5 - 60 lbs. Workers should come prepared wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the environmental and working conditions described. Cell phone can only be used during breaks, emergencies, and communicated with supervisor when needed. Safety training on tools and equipment will be provided, if necessary.
