Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

Duties may include: Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, and combines. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Clean work areas and equipment as needed. Operate Peterbilt 389 - 18 Speed Manual, Kenworth W900 18 Speed Manual, 824k Loader, Case Equipment, Case 4450 Sprayer, 470 Steiger & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).

Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements

Must be 18 due to equipment use. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal. Variable weather conditions may apply.
