Job description

Employees will be required to prepare, maintain, and operate farming equipment/machinery, such as tractors, seeders, drills, plows, sprayers, combines, grain carts, etc, to top dress, plant, harvest, and haul small grains and pulse crops from the fields to the holding facilities. Employees will be required to operate blade/grader to eliminate water washouts that don't allow farm equipment to pass through the fields and roads. Employees will be required to operate and maintain all fans, if any, on grain bins, along with being able to operate and move augers to correct grain bin locations. Employees will not be operating any equipment or vehicles over the 26,001 lb GVW weight limit. General farming duties such as servicing and repairing, along with basic facility maintenance/upkeep due to weather damage and everyday use. Increased wages and or bonus may be offered depending on experience.

Special Requirements

Employer provided items (at no cost to the worker): All tools and equipment necessary to perform the duties assigned as well as transportation between worker(s) on-site housing and the work site. A cell phone or two-way radio will be provided for emergency and ranch communications at no
cost to the worker (excluding long distance charges).
The expected work schedule may be required in a split shift due to the nature of the job duties. Hours may vary due to weather, time of year and the requirements of the job. Work may be offered more than the specified hours per day, but only required to work the hours specified. Work may be offered 7 days a week but only required 6 days a week.
