Barista Server

Job description

Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and special Italian beverages such as cappuccino; Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment; Cleaning service and seating areas; Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers; Servicing customers and taking orders; Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies; Receiving and processing customer payments. Shifts can be from morning to lunch or afternoon and dinner shifts.

General English language skills necessary to communicate with guests and patrons.

Special Requirements

THREE (3) MONTHS AS A WAITER, WAITRESS, IN COFFEE SHOP, CAFE, HOTEL, RESORT PRIVATE CLUB OR RESTAURANT OR OTHER HOSPITALITY VENUE THAT REQUIRES SAME FUNCTIONS. ENGLISH REQUIRED IN ORDER TO COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS.

Schedule: 35 hours per week generally, 7a.m. to 9 p.m. Work schedule can vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Work hours and shifts vary.
