Job description

Duties include general land management, equipment operation, and facility upkeep during the 10-month seasonal period. This role is essential to ranch operations, as workers will be responsible for assisting with brush control to avoid wildfires and maintain healthy grazing areas. Workers will identify and remove toxic or invasive plants that may be harmful to livestock, including but not limited to bitterweed, in order to promote safe and sustainable pasture conditions.
Specific Duties Include:
• Inspect and perform minor repairs on fences and irrigation systems.
• Operate and maintain water wells and related water systems.
• Safely operate ranch machinery including tractors, ATVs, skid steers, and other equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and ranch machinery.
• Maintain tools, ensuring proper storage, organization, and inventory control.
• Mow, weed, and clear brush from pastures, trails, and work areas.
• Assist with erosion control, soil stabilization, and other land management projects.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
