Ground Person

Job description

14 Temporary Ground Person positions available; starts April 1, 2021 and lasts through December 1, 2021, at $16.34 per hour with overtime offered regularly at $24.51. Employer provides 40 hours work weekly. Work shift is Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4pm, with overtime optional. Ground Persons perform important non-agricultural duties such as ground-level pruning and trimming, also collecting and hauling out debris, as well as applying protective mulch, and using the chipper; also loading and unloading crew vehicles. Ground Persons also weed, rake, dig, and water.

Ground Persons observe signs of potential damage and are reporting this to supervisors. Attendance at a Safety Briefing is required at the beginning of each work day. Ground Persons perform physical activities that require the ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach. Ground Persons are exposed to outdoor weather conditions. No education, or experience, or training required. Opportunity is temporary, fulltime, non-agricultural.
