Job description

AEWR; US Workers: OK: $11.27; H2A Workers: OK: $10.05.

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, loading animals, hauling manure and feed; Maintain records on animals; Receive, process, and start stocker cattle; Break ice in stock tanks; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Drive truck with trailer to haul feed, cattle, fertilizer, commodities to and from market points and ports; Inspect, maintain, prepare, repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards and fences including temporary hot wire, feeding/watering equipment; Provide mineral to cattle grazing wheat pasture; 45 minutes lunch break offered.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
