Job description
Please note that the Employer will require a total of thirty (30) H-2A workers under this contract. Of these, fifteen (15) H-2A workers will commence employment on January 20, 2026, and the remaining fifteen (15) H-2A workers will commence employment on February 10, 2026.
Irrigators will handle a high-pressure water pump and run it during the workday. They will also be responsible for moving sprinkler pipes and opening and closing irrigation valves, ensuring all sprinklers are working while the system is running. Irrigators will take care of sprinkles and clear fields, roads, canals and ditches to avoid flooding. Wash and sanitize agricultural equipment. Maintain yard. Workers will also harvest by hand and with tools and equipment. Use forklift and pallet jack to load and unload material and equipment. Workers will also operate tractors and harvest machines, which have gross weight capacity under 26,001 lbs and do not require a commercial driver license to operate. Workers will also pack and load materials. Driving a company vehicle may be necessary. Workers will be planting and harvesting all crops by hand and with tools and equipment.

Special Requirements
Minimum Job Qualifications: 3 months harvest experience with any of the crops listed above. Workers must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently. Work is performed outdoors in open fields and can involve exposure to sun, wind, mud, dust, heat, cold and other elements of the normal outdoor grove environment. Temperatures can range from 20 degrees F to over 100 degrees F during the period of employment. Workers should come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear for the work and working conditions described.
