Job description
Work under this contract will consist of harvesting Peaches, Cherries, Almonds, Walnuts. In addition to harvest, workers will also be packing the produce in the field, loading, stacking, performing general labor, and driving a tractor and/or forklift.
Special Requirements
Candidates must have at least three (3) months of verifiable experience within the last two (2) years in agriculture, specifically related to Peaches, Cherries, Almonds and Walnuts in order to prevent crop damage and personal injury. Work will be performed under variable weather conditions, and all duties must be carried out in a manner that consistently demonstrates Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and adherence to the highest food safety standards.
Workers are required to attend a mandatory orientation, for which time will be compensated.
Workers must be able to understand and work and safety instructions provided in English or Spanish, the languages spoken and written in the workplace.
