Job description
AEWR; US Workers: AR: $13.40, MO: $14.56; H2A Workers: AR: $12.27, MO: $13.28.
Worker will be required to perform various job duties under SOC 45-2091 Agriculture Equipment Operators such as: Fuel the plane by connecting and disconnecting fuel hose to and from the airplane; Mix chemicals, pesticides, fertilizer, water, and other inputs; Read and understand a load ticket; Load the plane by connecting and disconnecting load hose to and from plane; Load plane with fertilizer by driving and operating loader truck; Clean all equipment daily; Mow airstrips; Clean work areas and maintain ground and weed growth; Maintains cleanliness in hanger/loadout areas; Record information about crops, such as pesticide use; Load and unload materials manually or by use of other equipment; Load and unload crops, manually or using conveyors, forklifts, or transfer augers; Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Irrigate soil, using portable pipes or ditch systems, and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps; Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops; Speak and understand english.
Special Requirements
Two (2) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
