Job description

AEWR; US Workers: KS: $12.69; H2A Workers: KS: $11.43.

Attend to live farm, ranch animals to include: Calve cows and heifers; Feed cattle; Collect data on newborn calves; Track feed usage; Break ice in water tanks; Artificially inseminate heifers; Monitor calf health; Assist with calving mother cows and heifers; Monitor calf health daily; Process calves; Artificially inseminate cows; Sort cows and heifers to be moved to grass; Sort and load livestock; Sort calves to be taken to market and sold; Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed to animals; Move equipment or livestock from one location to another manually or using trucks or carts; Speak and understand english.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
