Lawn & Landscape Maintenance Worker

Job description

Landscape and/or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, mulching, fertilizing, raking, and aerating.

May perform other job duties pursuant to 37-3011, Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers.

F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35-40 hours/week, OT is offered as needed; 8 hour shifts; 5 days/week (Monday through Friday, intermittent Saturdays as needed due to weather delays/demand; business is open 6 days/week); 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (schedule and end time vary).

F.a.9: N/A

F.b.9a: Workers will be paid no less than $15.70 per hour. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary and will be paid no less than $23.55 per hour.

F.c.1: The H-2B Temporary Lawn & Landscape Maintenance Workers will perform job duties at 925 South 500 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 and at customer sites throughout the Salt Lake City metropolitan area and within 20 minutes of Salt Lake City in Salt Lake County.

F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from the shop at 925 South 500 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 to and from worksites, or employee may report directly to the worksite on their own.

Special Requirements

No training, education or experience necessary. On-the-job training will be provided.
