Job description
Safely move, carry and set up dining tables, chairs and buffet equipment such as airpots and urns for coffee, beverage dispensers, pitchers, chafers, and food pans. Deliver food and beverages, clean tables, remove dirty dishes, replace soiled table linens, set tables, replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes, supply service/buffet/cold/hot bar with food and beverages. Serve items such as water, condiments, and coffee to patrons; perform assigned side work. Follow required safe cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
Employer will offer 35 hours of work per week. Resort is open 7 days a week, workdays vary Sunday through Saturday. Rotating schedule, normal shift time 6am-2pm. Shift includes 1 hour of unpaid break time. Workdays and shift times may vary with occupancy.
Tip position. Allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines to meet offered wage. Employer will guarantee offered wage for hours worked when allowed tip credit does not make hourly wage equal or exceed the offered wage of $9.73 per hour.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be at least 21 years old. ServSafe Alcohol certification and ServSafe Food Handler certification required. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Applicants must complete an employment application.
