Job description

Duties may include: Protect herd from predators while herd is in grazing fields. Shift animals between grazing areas to ensure that they have sufficient access to food. Worker will assist in repairing water and irrigation lines using tools, tractors, and backhoe. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping using chainsaw and various hand tools & other related Ranch Hand activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org).

Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements

Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Variable weather conditions may apply. Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer. Employees are expected to keep employer-provided vehicles clean and free of trash. Workers may not post or remove notices, signs, or other instructions from the employers bulletin boards or the employers property without specific authorization from the employer.
