Job description

AEWR; US Workers: AR: $13.40; H2A Workers: AR: $12.27.

Assisting in the daily management of a bee operation including inspection of bees; making splits; grafting and raising queens; feeding and treating bees; maintaining bee yards; adding needed equipment (supers) and pulling honey at the end of the season; maintaining equipment by painting bee boxes, waxing frames and assembling new equipment; drive forklifts, loaders, farm vehicle as needed; record information about crops; repair and maintain farm machinery and equipment as well as farm buildings fences, and other structures; clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Approximate staggered entry: 2 workers to begin Feb 1 2026 and 2 workers to begin March 1 2026.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience with references required as a beekeeper. May not have bee, pollen or honey-related allergies. Must be able to obtain a drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
