Job description

AEWR; US Workers: LA: $9.59; H2A Workers: LA: $8.24.

Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and primarily late model John Deere self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as cotton picker, combine, grain cart, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, corn, cotton, rice, wheat; Water crops; Identify plants, pests, and weeds and inform farm managers of crop progress; Direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting of crops; Drive trucks to transport inputs and grain to/from employer’s fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Attach implements. Trap and destroy pests such as moles, gophers, and mice; Haul and spread inputs, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Approximate staggered entry: 7 workers to begin Feb 1 2026 and 8 workers to begin April 30 2026.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
