Job description
Workers will be required to build commercial or residential buildings. Workers may operate hand and power tools of all types to include but not limited to air hammers, earth tampers, air drills, air wrenches, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, small hydraulic jacks, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment, instruments and tools, may clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support side of excavation and concrete pours, complete residential masonry work, erect scaffolding and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Control traffic passing near, in or around work zone. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment work activities. Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications. Workers must be able to list, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs.
Special Requirements
Workers must have at least 3 months basic construction technique experience. Workers must be able to lift, pull, carry and/or push at least 50 lbs
