Job description

AEWR; US Workers: AR: $13.40; H2A Workers: AR: $12.27.

Duties to be performed: Row crop farming: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, spray, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Attach farm implements such as plow, disc and drill tractor. Till the soil, rock picking, plant and cultivate grain. Irrigation of rice, corn and soybeans. Drain excess water from crops and assist in the irrigation of crops. Drive tractor and operate self-propelled combine. Equipment maintenance - general lubrication, service (fluid checks) and perform incidental repair to farm machinery. Manual labor: pick up and carry sacks of grain, load and unload trucks. Crops: rice, corn and soybeans. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Two (2) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
