Job description

Crops: Pine Straw

Cultivated pine trees are marked by the Forestry Department. Workers manually gather pine straw by raking, baling, stacking, grading, sorting, and tying. Workers will clean field areas by removing sticks prior to raking. Workers will perform cleaning and weeding tasks.

Special Requirements

2 months pine straw baler experience required. Workers may lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Workers are not permitted to be under the influence of intoxicants of any kind during working hours. Employer reserves the right to conduct employer-paid post-accident drug testing. Any employee who declines to take or fails a drug test will be immediately terminated.
