Job description

We need seasonal employees to assist with our Alfalfa, Corn, Potatoes, Small Grain, and Soybean production, performing all duties related to raising these crops. Work includes preparing fields; attaching and operating farm implements and machinery such as tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, combines, irrigation equipment, and manure spreaders; planting, cultivating, weeding, spraying, irrigating, and harvesting; mixing and loading materials or chemicals into machinery; monitoring equipment for malfunctions and making adjustments or repairs; hauling crops, supplies, and tools with farm trucks; loading and unloading crops or materials manually or with conveyors, forklifts, and augers; maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, pivots, ditches, pumps, buildings, fences, and other structures; cleaning work areas, fields, and equipment; grading, sorting, weighing, and packaging products according to quality standards; inspecting plants for insects, disease, and growth; applying fertilizers and pesticides; setting up and maintaining climate control and irrigation systems; keeping accurate operational and production records; and performing post-harvest tasks such as storage, treatment, and facility maintenance. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
