Job description

Separate fish based on size and health for different rearing stages; Regularly test water parameters like temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and ammonia levels; Dispense appropriate feed to fish according to their developmental stage; Observe fish for signs of disease and administer necessary treatments if needed; Clean tanks, ponds, and other hatchery equipment; Track fish populations, growth rates, and other relevant data; Transport and release mature fish into natural waters; Drive tractors.

Work schedules may vary, and employees may be assigned to rotating shifts, including evening or weekend work as needed. Duties may change during the workday depending on crop conditions, weather, and field or pond needs. Workers will perform a variety of general farm labor tasks as assigned, consistent with the job description and within the certified hours.

On August 25, 2025, DOL rescinded the rule prohibiting employers from filing a single temporary agricultural labor certification to hire nonimmigrant workers under the H-2A visa classification into the United States after the first date of need. As such, the employer is filing a single batch for workers who are intended to be brought into the U.S. with the approximate staggered start dates:
1. February 1, 2026 - 6 workers
2. April 1, 2026 - 5 workers
