Job description
Skill level I workers are needed to plant pumpkins, pick, clean, grade, sort, pack and load apples and pumpkins and thin apples by hand, do fence and trellis repair and other orchard maintenance. May plant, graft, cut down, and prune trees, work with tree and orchard irrigation and make repairs. Must be able to operate a 55 HP or larger tractor. Must be able to stand and walk long periods of time, use sharp instruments, able to do ladder work and lift 50lbs. 1 months experience in orchard work required.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
