Job description

Agricultural Nursery Repair and Maintenance Workers are responsible for the repair and upkeep of various farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Their tasks include determine issues with farm machinery, testing small farm equipment, and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. They will maintain detailed records of all repairs and adjustments, documenting the work completed for future reference. In addition to repairs, workers will clean and lubricate parts to ensure machinery operates smoothly. They will also handle maintenance and repairs of farm structures, including greenhouses and shade houses, ensuring that these buildings remain in good condition to support agricultural operations. This role is essential for maintaining the functionality and efficiency of both farm equipment and infrastructure.

Special Requirements

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. . Lift up to 50 lbs.
