Job description
Worker responsibilities will be to prune peach and apple trees, thin peaches and apples, picking peaches and apples, chopping melons, picking melons and general tree maintenance and care. Preparing land for new tree planting, including picking up roots, rocks and mowing, during harvesting, workers will wash, sort, grade and inspect apples and peaches. Moving and repairing tools, picking materials, and packaging/storage material, folding, stitching and taping boxes to hold apples and peaches. Must have 1 months experience in orchard farming and must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
