Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Clean, repair, maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plant, cultivate, stack, harvest crops such as turf; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas, shop, and house and maintain grounds and landscaping including mowing; Perform field sanitation duties; Follow all posted safety and work rules.
Special Requirements
Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
