Job description

Work under the direction of the Crew Chief / Job Foreman to install landscape materials at customer sites; plant trees, shrubs, perennials, decorative rock, landscape mulch, and plastic edging using manual hand tools; use movers and hand tools, such as shovels, picks, rakes, pruning saws, hedge, or brush trimmers; and, load and unload trucks with retail products, related hard goods, and equipment at customer site and landscape distribution center.

May perform other job duties pursuant to 37-3011, Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers.

F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35-40 hours/week, 0-30 OT hours/week, OT varies (OT must be pre-approved); 10 hour shifts; 6 days/week (Mon-Sat, schedule varies and includes evenings and weekends, occasional Saturdays off; business is open 6 days/week); 7:00 am to 7:00 pm . Schedule varies.

F.b.9a: Workers will be paid no less than $17.78 per hour. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary and will be paid no less than $26.67 per hour.

F.c.1: The H-2B Temporary Landscape Laborers will perform job duties at 6399 County Road 19, Loretto, MN 55357 and at projects in the Twin Cities and surrounding metro area, including: Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Washington, Carver Counties. All anticipated work locations are within the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI MSA and the prevailing wage is the same for all locations.

F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from the main office at 6399 County Road 19, Loretto, MN 55357 to and from worksites, or employee may report directly to the worksite on their own.

Special Requirements

No formal education, training or experience necessary. On-the-job training will be provided.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more and work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
