Job description
Seasonal workers needed to plant, cultivate, irrigate and harvest grain crops, assist with livestock husbandry and production, due to the nature of the business and the client base, livestock are bred and have offspring that are available for sale from February to November resulting in the busiest time for transporting the animals and also the care and husbandry. General farm work to include, but not limited to, building maintenance, improvements, field work such as erosion repair, pond management, weed and pest control, fence repair, picking up broken and dead trees, rocks and debris around crop areas, composting, caring for lagoons and freshwater lakes, mowing, and weed eating grounds, etc. Workers must have 3 months of verifiable, general farm work and animal husbandry experience and be able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may request additional work hours based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
