Job description
General farm worker needed for crawfish and rice. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Rice to include field prep, water maintenance, drive tractor, planting and harvesting of rice. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; repair traps as needed; operate crawfish boat, frequent stooping and lifting traps; load & unload crawfish, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, equipment & supplies provided at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
