Job description
We operate a 4300-acre farm where we grow corn, milo, wheat, soybeans and feed. We also do swathing and baling. We need a seasonal employee to assist with all aspects of growing these crops including planting, drill feed and wheat, running farm equipment including tractors, planters, swather, baler and rake. Employee will need to assist with general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. In February to mid-March, employees will be preparing equipment for planting. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive walking, frequent stooping, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Require 3 months experience.
