Job description
Clean, repair, maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair and maintain farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Pick up storm damaged limbs and down trees; Develop new pasture and hay fields; Perform pasture maintenance such as digging and disposal of thistles and thorn trees; Assist with livestock vaccinating, ear tagging, branding and feeding supplements; Hand spring grass to repair old pastures and hay fields; Operate hay equipment to swath, rake, bale, stack.
Special Requirements
Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
