Job description
The worker will assist with all aspects of seasonal small grains farming in northeast North Dakota. Primary duties include operating and maintaining agricultural equipment used for seeding, spraying, cultivating, harvesting, and transporting grain. Tasks also include field work such as cultivating soil, picking rocks, rolling beans, operating grain carts, and hauling harvested crops. The worker will support the full cycle of grain production from planting to harvest and may occasionally be required to work independently after training. These duties are essential to the farm’s operations during the busy season, which runs from February 28, 2026, through November 30, 2026. Farm experience is preferred but not required, as on-the-job training will be provided. The position requires attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and a willingness to perform physically demanding labor outdoors in varying conditions.
Special Requirements
No experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain.
