Job description
We have 5,600 acres of cropland. We are a family farm that grows wheat, canola, sunflowers, soybeans and barley - with myself, my son and my dad all working. We run late model Case IH equipment. Employee will assist us in operating the tractor, combine, spreader, farm truck, and other farm equipment. The summer will include duties such as grain hauling, spraying, and farm upkeep. In the fall, the employee will assist with tillage and run combine/grain cart. Employee will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
Special Requirements
Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employers discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employers discretion. Job requires extensive sitting and repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Require 3 months experience.
