Job description
The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting, while upholding Omni Safe and Clean protocols for COVID-19 safety. Duties include restocking and replacing used amenities, removing room service trays and tables, and communicating the clean status of each room upon completion. The role also involves maintaining a well-stocked and organized supply cart, delivering requested items to guest rooms, supporting overall housekeeping operations, and ensuring all equipment is in good working condition before and after use. Exceptional customer service and a friendly, efficient response to guest needs are essential in this role.
Special Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. This role requires the ability and willingness to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours), as well as bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs. Flexibility is essential, as the position involves working a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays. Previous housekeeping experience in a hospitality setting is strongly preferred. Candidates must also be comfortable working in an outdoor climate as needed.
