Job description
Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Mix
specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Observe and listen to
machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on
machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed
machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies,
tools, or farm workers. Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops. Operate
tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and
harvest crops. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Maintain farm buildings, fences, and other structures.
Load or unload trucks or help others with loading or unloading, using special loading-related equipment or other equipment as
necessary. Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver
products, livestock, or other materials. Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers. Report any
mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water,
tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations. Drive vehicles with
capacities under three tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations, such as railroad stations, plants, residences,

Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Certified license is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the
liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to
pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the
job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring
