Job description
Job requires the operation of various tractors and farm equipment to till soil; work ground;
prepare and maintain land; and plant, irrigate, fertilize, spray, cultivate, harvest, and transport
crops to elevator or storage area. Equipment that workers may be required to operate
includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements, sprayers, combines, backhoes, mowers, track-hoes. Job also requires performing general maintenance, repairs and/or
clean-up of storage sheds, pivot points, buildings, gates, barns and all farm equipment;
ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and
equipment to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery
and agricultural equipment; regularly servicing equipment. The employer reserves the right to
increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that
are solely based on the discretion of the employer. Employer will also require employees to
help with cattle work as this will be part of there job duties.
Special Requirements
Moderate cell phone use is permitted during work hours strictly for business-related purposes,
and employees must be able to lift and carry items such as seed bags, fuel jugs, and other
routine materials necessary for day-to-day farm operations.
