Job description
Operating self-propelled equipment that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows crops such as corn, wheat, milo; may include irrigation, planting, spraying, tillage, and fertilizing work; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment; performing safety checks on equipment; maintaining and repairing equipment and other tools; driving semi-truck to move harvesting equipment from one farm to another, and transporting crops and various agricultural products to elevators, silos, or other farmer designated locations; Must be able to speak English and be willing to travel along the itinerary. Approximate staggered entry: 5 in February, 20 March, 20 in April, 20 in May.
Special Requirements
Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
