Rice Farmer

Job description

• Planting and tending to rice seeds or seedlings in paddies or fields;

• Monitoring water levels and adjusting irrigation systems accordingly;

• Harvesting and grading rice according to quality standards;

• Monitoring crop health and diseases and taking preventive or corrective measures;

• Recording information about crops, such as pesticide use, yields, or costs;

• Performing manual labor, such as cleaning, mowing, weeding, or repairing farm structures and fences;

• Following safety procedures and regulations for agricultural workers and equipment;

Special Requirements

Physical stamina, strength, and endurance are required, as well as the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and for long hours. Problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills are also valuable, as well as the ability to keep accurate records and manage budgets.
