Farm Workers

Job description

Employees will be picking strawberries.
Job duties are:
-Pick vegetable from plant by hand or using a knife to remove fruit from plant according to
size, color, shape and degree of maturity;
-May separate fruit according to size and uniformity;
-Keep count of harvested and loaded crops, ensuring accuracy of all counts, record keeping;
-Close container after packing and stack full containers according to size.

First group of 24 workers will start work at 7:00am to 1:30pm Monday thru Friday. On Saturday they will start at 7:00am to 12:30pm.
Second group of 17 workers will start work at 7:30 am to 2:00pm Monday thru Friday. On Saturdays they will start at 7:30am to 1:00pm.

Special Requirements

Workers are required to make a minimum of 10 boxes of strawberry per hour.
Boxes contain 12 small baskets.
Box dimensions are 20 L x 12 W x 3 D.
Full Box weights 10 lbs.
