Job description

Workers will assist with seasonal crop production activities on a 4,000-acre corn farm in Walsh County, North Dakota, from March through December. Primary duties include operating various agricultural equipment for planting, cultivating, fertilizing, spraying, and harvesting corn. Workers will help prepare fields by performing tasks such as tilling soil, clearing debris, and setting up irrigation systems. During the growing season, workers will monitor crop health, apply pesticides or fertilizers as instructed, and assist with maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Post-harvest tasks may include cleaning and servicing equipment, performing minor repairs, and assisting with storage and cleanup. Workers will also support general farm upkeep and may be required to load or unload materials. Duties are physically demanding and will be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions. No prior experience is required; workers will receive necessary instruction and safety training to perform assigned tasks. Work schedules average 40 hours per week over 5 days, but may vary based on weather or crop conditions.
