Agricultural Laborer

Job description

Unloading semi trucks with trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses; heal in trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grass using shovels; watering trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grass; fertilizing trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grass; operate a soil-mixing machine to prepare custom mix used to pot perennials, grasses, and shrubs; trimming trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grass with pruners and sheers; removing weeds via flame weeder; and, loading trees, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grass for deliveries.

Employer will abide by all of Colorado's agricultural laws to include Senate Bill 21-087 ("SB87") and any subsequent Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards Orders (COMPS order)
Employer will provide transportation to town for personal errands at least once per week for non-range workers, and at least once every 3 weeks for range workers per SB87
Effective 1/1/25, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers.
