Job description
Fertilizing, planting, spraying, cultivating and irrigating crops and fields. Hauling fertilizer, crops and seeds. Operates self-propelled custom class harvesting machines and auger carts to harvest a variety of grain and oil seed crops. Adjusts speed of cutters, blower and conveyors and height of cutting head using hand tools. Mowing roadsides, ditches and waterways. Changes cutting head as appropriate for crop. Cleans and maintains machinery and makes in-field repairs. Must have 3 months farm work experience. Random drug testing at employer’s expense.
