Job description
Workers will be required to perform the following activities as directed by supervisor: operate and maintain vehicles and farm machinery including forklifts, tractors, mowers, tillage equipment, and other farm machinery to prepare soil, apply manure, and plant, maintain, harvest, and haul crops including alfalfa, corn, and other forage; load and unload crops or manure; remove rocks, trees, and roots from fields; maintain buildings and grounds; and set up, operate and maintain irrigation systems.
Special Requirements
Experience Requirement: 3 month(s) verifiable experience in 3 verifiable months of commercial agriculture experience driving farm tractors of minimum 200 horse power required. Applicants must furnish job references from employers of the last 3 years establishing acceptable prior experience.
Job requires worker to complete tasks in Equipment Operation. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties.
Drug testing done at employers expense and not utilized as preemployment tool.
Season Commitment: Job offered requires worker be available for work for entire employment period.
