This is a job description for Farm Equipment Mechanics and Service Technicians.

Crops: Apples, cherries, and grapes (trees and vines).

The primary responsibilities of this position include ensuring equipment operates at optimal levels, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and performing necessary repairs. It also involves conducting preventive maintenance as per company and manufacturer guidelines, keeping accurate repair records, and operating various types of heavy and light equipment such as tractors, trucks, and loaders. The role requires performing welding, acetylene burning, brazing, and soldering when needed, as well as general labor and cleaning tasks related to equipment maintenance. Additionally, maintaining a safe, organized work environment is essential for efficient performance.

Special Requirements

B.2) Worker must possess 24 months of proven experience as a mechanic. Worker must also have familiarity with various types of farm equipment, such as tractors, harvesters, and sprayers.
