Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

Duties may include: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, spray, till soil and harvest crops. Attach farm implements such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Worker will assist in planting and cultivating grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Perform general maintenance on machinery such as lubrication, service and mechanical repair to farm machinery & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).

Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements

Must be 18 due to equipment use. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified.Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal. Variable weather conditions may apply. Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer.
