Job description

Seasonal work to handpick blueberries according to color, ripeness, and firmness. Place berries into picking containers and carry filled containers to the dumper or weighing station. Sort, grade, and pack blueberries by size, ripeness, and quality as directed. Stack, restack, and organize lugs, boxes, and containers on pallets or trailers. Perform basic packing tasks, including boxing, labeling, and preparing fruit for shipment. Clean work areas, including removing trash, sweeping, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing equipment. Follow all food‑safety and hygiene rules, including washing and drying hands before and after breaks and when reentering the field. Work may occur in hot, cold, humid, wet, or variable weather conditions. Must handle, carry, and move materials, boxes, or containers weighing up to 60 lbs. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided at no cost to the worker, and other related agricultural duties as assigned.

Special Requirements

The employer will only conduct a drug test if the employee is in a work-related accident. The drug testing will be at the employer's
expense. If the worker fails the drug test or refuses to undergo drug testing, this will be considered probable cause for termination of
employment.
